Indoor Air Quality
Indoor air pollution can actually be worse for you than outdoor pollution! Clean indoor air with low levels of dust, particulates, and contaminants and the right level of humidity is important for the day-to-day health and comfort of you and your family. At Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning, we offer a variety of solutions to keep your indoor air clean.
Air Filters
Air filters are used to prevent dust from building up within your heating and cooling systems. If left unchanged, it could cause considerable damage to the system components. Air filters are easy to replace and when requested, we provide only top of the line quality filters to our customers.
Humidifiers
Humidifiers create the optimum level of moisture within the air to provide a consistent flow of comfortable and healthy air. They create a warm and cozy home in the winter and maintain a comfortable home on hot summer days. Humidifiers are important to maintain a healthy home to avoid dry air which can cause frequent coughing, dry skin, and increased allergy symptoms.
Dehumidifiers
Dehumidifiers decrease the moisture in the air and keep temperatures down. A temperature increase caused by moisture can lead to your AC unit overloading. It can also lead to condensation within your unit, damage to wood floors and wallpaper, as well as more serious health risks such as helping to prevent the flu and mold from forming in your walls and vents.
Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)
An ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) is a free-standing ventilation unit that provides your HVAC system with energy efficiency by regulating the flow of incoming and outgoing air. An ERV moderates the temperature of the air within the system allowing for a more efficient cooling/heating process as it reduces the amount of energy necessary to run your HVAC system.
Air Purifiers and Air Cleaners
Air purifiers and air cleaners remove germs and contaminants from your home's air. Air purifiers use germicidal UV lamps to rid the air in your home of any contaminants. Air purifiers do not rely on filters or screens as air cleaners do. As a result, they require less frequent maintenance.
